The person behind the notes
About Mohit
I'm a software engineer in Bengaluru, India. I like getting to the bottom of how systems work—and sharing what I learn along the way.
A bit about me
My work has taken me through application development, backend engineering, and developer productivity. I currently work at Salesforce on engineering insights and developer productivity. Before that, I worked on engineering platforms and developer experience at Informatica.
I'm curious about how reliable software gets built: the architecture underneath it, the tools that help teams do their best work, and the small decisions that make systems easier to understand and maintain. Lately, I've also been exploring how AI is changing the way software is designed and delivered.
Penguin Coders is my personal engineering publication—a home for notes, experiments, and ideas I want to understand more deeply.

Mar 2026 — PresentWorking in Engineering 360, with a focus on engineering insights and developer productivity. My work touches data integration, transformation and validation, and the broader challenge of making engineering information more consistent and useful.
That includes working with engineering data related to pull requests, Jira, security, availability, and software quality—without losing sight of data quality and reliable sources of truth.
